Welcome back to day 2 of our 12 Days of Christmas posts! Lately I have been making a conscious effort to look into the products and brands that I am purchasing. I have gone through my makeup collection with a fine tooth comb and gotten rid of many products/brands that are not cruelty-free. There are so many great affordable and high end brands out there that don’t test on animals, so why don’t all brands fro this? In today’s post I am going to shade with you five of my current favourite cruelty-free brands!
*Some products in this post were generously sent to me for free to test out and share with you guys. All opinions are my own.*
Ulta3 is a super affordable Australian Beauty brand that is inspired by colour, fun and fashion. Their releases stay on trend so that their consumers can be on trend too! They believe that animals are for loving (true) and they are passionate about their cruelty-free stance. They are currently in the process of flipping their entire range to be vegan friendly too (yay). I have been lucky enough to be sent many of their products to try and review for you guys, my favourites are The Cheek Of It Blush Palette, the Shade & Shape Brow Styler and the Go To Great Lengths Waterproof Mascara (which I have sadly run out of and need to repurchase asap). *All products pictured were generously sent to me for free to test out and share with you guys!*
ColourPop Cosmetics is another super affordable brand that is raised and made in California. They pride themselves on being wallet friendly and bunny approved. They test their products in the nicest way possible, on their employees, and leave fur babies to be well, fur babies. Their extensive ranges makes them one of the most popular affordable brands on the market! I have tried many ColourPop products in my life, but my favourites would have to be their Super Shock Cheek range and their Pressed Powder Shadows. They have collaborated with some of the biggest beauty influencers and are forever adding to their already large range of makeup and skincare.
Makeup Revolution is an affordable US brand. They serve to represent a diverse set of customs. They release new and affordable products regularly and strive to be an inclusive brand as makeup matters, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or sexuality. They use their customers’ feedback, desires and the newest trends to drive their product innovation. Their products are always PETA-certified cruelty-free, never tested on animals and are 76% vegan (and growing). I haven’t tried many of their products I must admit, but my favourites would have to be their Conceal & Define Foundation as well as their Conceal & Define Concealer.
Tarte Cosmetics is an American cosmetics company based in New York City. They are completely cruelty-free and have many amazing vegan products listed on their website. They also ship all over the world so every cruelty-free lover can test them out. Again, I have tried a limited number of their products. My favourites would have to be their Amazonian Clay Bronzing Powder and their face palettes. They also are the owners of the cult favourite Shape Tape concealer!
Mecca Max is an affordable Australian brand sold in Mecca stores around Australia. They are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. The brand was born from the shop floor and is a reflection of what their customers want in a makeup brand. I will admit, I haven’t tried many things from this brand but I am hoping to change that soon and go and pick up a bunch of their products (pls, I have heard so many amazing things). I am however opening their 2020 Beauty-Full Days Advent calendar currently over on my Instagram so check that out!
Other cruelty-free brands include:
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Chi Chi Cosmetics
The Balm Cosmetics
And many others!
