A Makeup Haul #1

Hi Beauties,
At the end of 2020 I made quite a few makeup and skincare purchases. I really limited myself throughout the year when it came to my makeup purchases, so when all the Black Friday, Boxing Day and New Year sales hit I stocked up on all the goodies I had been wanting throughout the year. Sometimes it is just nice to treat yourself! If you want to know what I picked up, then keep on reading.

I have decided that 2021 is going to be the year I start treating my skin better, so when I noticed that Sephora had some great skincare packs up for grabs, I knew I had to pick them up! Fenty Skin recently released here in Australia which had a lot of beauty lovers talking. I grabbed the Start’R Skincare Set which includes the Total Cleans’R Remove-It-All Cleasner, the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum and the Hydra Vizor Invisible Broad Spectrum SPR 15 Sunscreen Moisurizer. I am excited to test this out, so when the products I am currently using finish up, this will be getting put to the test!

Next I had wanted to grab some sunscreen, and I had heard so many good things about the brand Ultra Violette, so in my basket they went. I picked up the Mini Screen Collection Sunscreen Set (it is limited edition and currently no longer available, but I will link it anyway in case it comes back in stock). This set contains mini versions of the Queen Screen, Supreme Screen, Clean Screen and Extreme Screen. They all come in a cute summer bag. I have started to test these out to find out which full sized version I will purchase in the future.

Then I jumped over to the Tarte website to grab myself some bargains in their sale. First I picked up the Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer in the shade Park Ave Princess. This was a repurchase as the one I had in my collection had expired and it was about time I grabbed a new one. I also grabbed another shade of the Shape Tape Concealer (shade 12N fair neutral). I have a super light shade and a darker shade so I wanted a shade that sat in the middle of those two. Lastly, I grabbed a Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in the shade Delish. Honestly, I picked this up to get free shipping! I was given a free sample of a brow pomade and also got their birthday set for free (this contains a blush and mascara).

Last but not least, XoBeautyShop had a great end of year sale so I knew I had to pick up some goodies I had been wanting to try out. I grabbed their brand new Rapid Makeup Take Off Mitt Set. This set contains 3 of the Precision Makeup Mits, 1 Precision Finger Makeup Mitt and a Laundry Wash Bag to keep them all safe when I wash them. I own a few makeup remover pads from other brands, but I wanted to make sure I had enough for every day of the week. I have been wanting to try some makeup from XoBeauty for a while so I grabbed the 5pc Lipstick Set Two which has 5 matte lipsticks. I want to do a dedicated post on these lipsticks so I will save all the details for that post. Then I picked up the XoBeauty Lash Glue (clear, latex-free) as my current Duo one is almost out. Last I picked up her newest eyeshadow palette, The Native Palette. I have seen pictures of this all over Instagram and I wanted to test it out for myself.

Did you take advantage of any of the end of year sales? What are some new items in your makeup collection? Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
