Ere Perez | Beautiful Eye Palette | Review

Hi Beauties,

Welcome back to another eyeshadow review post! Today’s post is going to focus on the Chamomile Beautiful Eye palette from Ere Perez. If you want to learn more about the palette, and whether or not I will be keeping it in my collection, then keep on reading.

About The Palette –
First things first, I didn’t set out to buy this palette. I actually received it in my February edition of the Unknown Beauty Box subscription. Ere Perez is not a brand I had heard of before, but receiving this palette got me very interested. Anyway, back to the palette. This eye shadow palette features 6 unique shades of natural colour. There are 4 in this range, and they all are made with calming ingredients including chamomile (which helps those with sensitive eyes).

The Packaging –
This palette is housed in a super sleek white plastic compact which has a clasp opening and closing. It does come with a mirror on the inside, which is the perfect size to be able to complete an eye look in if you chose to take this palette away with you. The pans themselves are attached by a magnet and you can replace each of the shades.

The Shades –
Pearl Shine is a champagne/nude shimmer shade.
Chocolate is a matte deep brown shade.
Roast Hazelnut is a made medium brown, matte shade.
Bronzed Cinnamon is a bronze shimmer shade.
Gold Glimmer is a golden shimmer shade.
is a black matte shade.

Final Thoughts
While the shades themselves look beautiful in the pan, sadly the texture and pigmentation is extremely lacking (as I hope you can tell by the swatch photo). The shades are all extremely sheer, which could work great if you are a little heavy handed like myself. The metallics really let the palette down. They barely show up on the eyelid, and if you try to blend them out, well… see ya later to the colour altogether. I have used the shades 2/3 times each, and already they seem to have a film over them which makes them even harder to use. I also think the matte shades all blend out to be super similar shades which makes the entire palette sort of useless.

Will I be keeping the Ere Perez Chamomile Beautiful Eye Palette in my collection? This might come as a shock to you, but for the time being, this palette is staying put. I do like having a small and compact palette that isn’t too intense and can easily be carried around for when I want to do a simple look. Would I encourage you to go out and buy it? No! I don’t think this palette is worth the $44 you would spend on it.

Have you tried this palette? What is your favourite eyeshadow palette? Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
