Empties #1

Hi Beauties,

Welcome back to another blog post. Today I am coming at you with another empties post. I have made it my mission this year to actually use up the products I currently have in my collection before I go and repurchase more. So, if you want to see some of my empties from this month, then keep on reading!

*Disclaimer: some of the products mentioned were sent to me for free, these products will be clearly marked*

First up we have a mini Tatcha The Deep Cleanse cleanser. I have been testing this product out for some time now, and I finally used up the last little bit of it. I love that this product is cruelty free, and it comes in a cute little set so that I was able to test it out before I committed to the full sized product. This cleanser is slightly exfoliating on the skin and is definitely more gentle than other cleansers I have used. However, I still found that it slightly stripped my skin of its natural oils and left me feeling tight and dry after continuous use. I would not recommend this one for anyone with sensitive skin because of that. Considering the price of the full sized product, I don’t think this will be a repurchase.

Next up we have the Origins Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturiser. I did love using this product as it was super hydrating, brightening and affordable. Again, I had grabbed a mini of this product to test out some time ago and have only just finished it all up. It does have a stronger fragrance to it (which doesn’t bother me, but I know others would not enjoy that), and it occasionally made my skin feel tighter after use. It also soaks into the skin pretty quickly, which can be seen as both a positive or a negative depending on your skin. With all that being said, this sadly will not be a repurchase for me as it is not cruelty free!

Does anyone feel super accomplished when they finish up a lip product? Well I did when I finally used up this beautiful Burmese Dream Rehab Lip Oil. I was sent this one a few months back and I have been using it every single night to keep my lip feeling hydrated and plump as I sleep. I loved that it is cruelty free and super affordable however, it can sometimes feel a little oily on the skin and the gold flakes can sometimes give it a rough texture on the lips. *this product was sent to me for free*

If you have been following me for a while then you would know how much I love the Mecca Max Brush Refresh Mist. I generally use this to spot clean my eye brushes in between every single use. I mainly love this mist because it is super affordable! It also helps that it is cruelty free and it dries really quickly meaning that you don’t have to wait for your brushes to dry before you can use them again. I will repurchase this over and over again!

Lastly, we have my favourite setting spray, The Continuous Setting Spray by Morphe. Why do I love it so much? Well, it is super affordable (can you see a pattern here?), it is easily accessible for us down here in Australia (available at Mecca) and the spray is something I have never come across before. As the name suggests, it is continuous, but it is also super fine so it does not disrupt your makeup. This is another product that I will always continue to repurchase.

What are some products you have used up lately? Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
