Australis Cosmetics is one of Australia’s most loved cosmetics brands. They are 100% Australian owned, cruelty free and their entire range is vegan formulated. But the best part… they are super affordable! One of their most popular lines is rightly titled Fresh & Flawless. Within this line you can find affordable primers, foundations, concealers, powders, face palettes and many more beautiful products. In today’s post I am going to be reviewing the concealer they released within this line, the Fresh & Flawless Conceal & Contour Concealer. If you want to learn more about this product, then keep on reading.
The Australis Concealer retails for $13.95 AUD. It can be purchased from the Australis Cosmetics website, Kmart, Big W and Priceline. There are 10 shades available of this concealer. This is not the most impressive shade range as there are only 3 deeper tones, but it isn’t the worst I have seen. I would definitely love to see this shade range increased.
Now, let’s talk about the packaging. This concealer is housed in a long and skinny plastic tube and comes with a doe-foot applicator. I personally love this type of applicator for any liquid product as I find I don’t waste as much as I might if I use a pump. Some argue that this type of applicator can raise hygiene issues, especially if you are applying the product straight into your skin, but for me, this is not much of an issue.
Moving onto the formula now. The Fresh & Flawless Conceal & Contour Concealer has a lightweight creamy texture. They claim this concealer to be full coverage, but I would put it more under the light/medium but buildable coverage category. You can use this product to create flawless looking skin, brighten up your face, and as a cream contour (depending on your skin tone). This multitasking concealer contains ingredients to help improve moisture and prevent premature aging. This formula also helps your skin to look smoother and firmer. All things that I can appreciate.
So what are my thoughts on this concealer? I love that it is super affordable, and you really are getting a great product for the price. I definitely wouldn’t call this concealer fullcoverage, like I said above, it has more of a light/medium coverage. I haven’t used it as a contour, but it is definitely something I want to test out in the future. The formula itself is nice and creamy on the skin and isn’t as thick as other concealers I have used. One important thing to note however is the smell. I find the smell of this concealer to be very strong when I first put it on the skin. To me, it has a very strong chemical smell. This does disappear very quickly however.
I would highly recommend this concealer to any beauty lover out there that loves an affordable, medium coverage concealer. If you are sensitive to strong smelling products, I would probably steer well clear of this one.

That’s all for now Beauties!
