My Makeup Collection | Eyeshadow Palettes

Hi Beauties!

Welcome back to another blog post! I am going to get straight into it today as it might be a bit of a long one. I have been wanting to share more of my makeup collection with you guys, so I am going to kick that off today and start with eyeshadow palettes. I do plan on doing more in depth reviews on each of these (if I haven’t already) so I won’t be going into too much detail about the shades, swatches, pigmentation and reviews. So, if you want to see what eyeshadow palettes I have in my collection, keep on reading.

*Some of these palettes were sent to me for free, these will be clearly marked*

Certifeye – The Tropical Wonders Palette
If you are after a colourful palette, this is the one for you. It consists of 18 matte shadows with a colour story that reaches from one side of the rainbow to the other. It is also vegan-friendly and cruelty-free which I can appreciate! I have had this palette in my collection for quite a while now, and even though I don’t reach for it on a daily basis, I am so happy to have a completely matte colourful palette in my collection for when I need it.

Huda Beauty – The Electric Obsessions Palette
This was the first ever ‘colourful’ palette I bought for my collection, so it is well loved. This palette contains 9 colourful shadows with a mix of matte and shimmer shades. Unfortunately, I can no longer find this palette online anywhere so I do believe it has been discontinued which makes me very sad for those who haven’t had the chance to experience it yet. Being that it was my first Huda Beauty product, I didn’t know what to really expect when I got my hands on it. But it quickly became a favourite, and I think it’s very easy to see why.

Huda Beauty – Neon Orange Obsessions Palette
This is a newer purchase of mine! It contains 9 beautiful shades with a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. This palette is definitely beautiful in its own way. I was unable to find it online anywhere (I purchased mine off Sephora when it was on sale), so I believe it may just be out of stock. Fingers crossed it comes back soon for you guys because it is one you will want in your collection!

XoBeauty – The Native Palette
This is another newer palette in my collection. I got my hands on this one at the beginning of this year, so it hasn’t been put to the full test just yet. It contains 12 beautiful shades with matte and shimmer finishes. Like I said, I haven’t gotten to play with this one too much just yet, so when I do you can definitely expect a full review to be posted (make sure you are following so you don’t miss it when it comes). I was really drawn to the ‘natural’ tones in this palette, and I know they are ones I will reach for again and again.

Ruby May Cosmetics – Pop Zombie Palette
I received this one in a recent beauty box subscription and was completely blown away with it! It contains 9 bold and bright shades with matte and shimmer finishes. I have had a little play around with this one and let me just say, wow! When I play around with it a little more I will definitely do a full review (spoiler: it will be a raving review). Make sure you stay tuned to my Instagram so you can check out some swatches which are coming soon in a video!

Ulta3 – Ultimate Eyes ‘Sunset’ Palette*
When I was first sent this palette I was so excited for the colour story! These tones are a bit of me that’s for sure. This palette contains 6 beautiful matte and shimmer shades that are perfect for creating a stunning sunset eye look. I did a full review on this palette which you can find here, so you will have to check that one out to find out more!
*This palette was sent to me for free*

BPerfect x  Stacey Marie – Carnival Palette
This is another new palette for my collection, I haven’t even swatched it yet! I have had it for a few months now, but with lockdown I haven’t had much of a chance to play with it yet. I heard so many amazing reviews about this palette, and it was on my wishlist for such a long time. When it was on sale on BeautyBay I knew it was time to bite the bullet and add it to my collection. It contains 24 matte and shimmer eyeshadow shades, as well as 2 highlighter shades.

Laritzy Cosmetics – Athena Palette
This is another newer palette which I received in a recent beauty box subscription. It contains 9 beautiful matte and shimmer shades. I am loving the berry tones in this palette. I haven’t swatched or used this one either, but it is on my list to swatch soon! I am hoping that the quality is there, because it really does look beautiful! Stay tuned for that one.

ColourPop Cosmetics – Main Squeeze Palette
ColourPop really know how to do amazing monochromatic palettes! This red themed palette contains 9 beautifully pigmented shimmer and matte red, pink and strawberry shades. I did a full review on this palette a while ago, so I will leave that here for you in case you want to know more. Basically, I love it! I want to collect all of their 9 pan palettes so badly!

ColourPop Cosmetics – Orange You Glad? Palette
This orange monochromatic palette contains 9 shimmer and matte shades with, well you guessed it, orange tones! Again, I did a full review on this one, which I will leave here, so you will have to check that out to learn more about this palette. I am a sucker for orange tones (I think they go with my skin tone and eye colour so perfectly).

ColourPop Cosmetics – Uh-Huh Honey Palette
Next is the yellow monochromatic palette! This one contains mattes, shimmers and a glitter shade all in the yellow theme. I will leave my review on it here for you guys. This is such a beautiful palette, but one that I will probably reach for the least, just because there isn’t much you can create with just this palette alone. I still love it though!

ColourPop Cosmetics – Just My Luck Palette
Just My Luck is the green monochromatic palette that you will fall in love with! This one contains 9 matte and shimmer shades all within the green theme. Similarly to the palette above, this is one I reach for the least just because green shades aren’t something I always reach for, even though they always make my eyes pop! I still love it though and love playing around with it. I will leave my review for this one here!

ColourPop Cosmetics – Blue Moon Palette
Next up we have the blue monochromatic palette, Blue Moon. I absolutely adore this palette, so I will leave the review for it here. This palette contains 9 amazingly pigmented shimmer and matte shades in the blue theme. I was really drawn to this one simply for the fact that at the time of its release, I had wanted to get the JS blue themed palette, but I stopped supporting him and his expensive makeup. So I picked up this one and fell deeply in love!

ColourPop Cosmetics – Strawberry Shake Palette
Strawberry Shake is the most beautiful pink themed palette. This one contains 9 shimmer and matte shades all fitting in with the theme. As if this palette isn’t the most beautiful thing you have ever seen! It blows me away every single time I reach for it. I will leave my review for it here so you can get some more details on it.

ColourPop Cosmetics – It’s My Pleasure Palette
The last themed palette I have is another favourite! This purple themed palette contains 9 shimmer and matte shades ranging from beautiful pinks to bold purples. I have a full review on this one too, so here it is for you to enjoy! I love the pigmentation of this one, and I especially love how it works so well against my green eyes. It really makes them pop!

Violet Voss – Holy Grail Palette
There is a reason this palette is called the Holy Grail! This palette consists of 20 amazing shadows with a mix of matte, metallic and sheen finishes. There is not a lot I can say about this palette that I haven’t already said before. I love this palette so much and it will never be leaving me! I always reach for this palette when I am getting ready for a night out, or even for a subtle day-time look. It’s just so versatile! This is the older version of this palette, and I would like to upgrade it sometime soon, but I am not in any rush. (I couldn’t find this palette online either, so it must be sold out).

Have you tried any of these eyeshadow palettes? Which palette is your favourite? Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
