My Makeup Collection | Foundations

Hi Beauties,

Welcome back to another blog post. Recently,I have been taking you through my makeup collection. I have shown you all my eyeshadow palettes (although I have a bunch of new ones that weren’t included in the post) and my primers. So today I decided it was time I show you my sweet little foundation collection! If you want to see what I have in my personal collection, then please keep on reading!

Some of these products were sent to me for free, these will be clearly marked.

In no particular order, let’s start with the Wet N Wild PhotoFocus Foundation. I have had this foundation in my collection for some time now (since 2018, yikes). Luckily for me, the smell hasn’t changed and neither has the texture so I think I am still safe. I picked this one up from a BeautyBay sale way back in 2018 and have loved it every time I reached for it. While I have not been reaching for foundation as much over the past 2 years (due to COVID/mask wearing/lockdowns) I am grateful to have this in my collection. The shade is perfect for me when I have a nice fresh fake tan on. I am hoping the finish still works well with my skin, but I might put it to the test soon and we can find out together!

Next up we have the L.A. Girl Pro Coverage HD Long Wear Illuminating Foundation. Similar to the Wet N Wild foundation, I grabbed this product in a BeautyBay sale back in 2018. This isn’t one that I reach for often for no reason other than I used to have way too many foundations in my collection to be able to try them all out. Now that my collection is slightly smaller I might get more use out of it. Again, this shade is perfect for when I have a nice fresh fake tan on. Expect to see a full review sometime in the near future!

Say hello to the Revolution Beauty Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation. Again, I picked these up in the same BeautyBay sale as the previous two foundations back in 2018 and luckily for me the texture and smell hasn’t changed much since I first got my hands on them. I have a full review on these foundations, which you can find here. I love how this foundation performs and would happily recommend it to anyone who was after a new affordable foundation!

This is the Hello, Good Stuff Tinted Beauty Cream from Essence. I actually haven’t tested this product out at all since Essence sent it to me, but I am making an effort to do so really soon and writing an in-depth review. It has all the elements of being a great product though! The thing that excites me the most is the ingredients list. With ingredients like cactus blossom extract and other moisturising goodies, I am sure this will be an amazing product to test out now that the weather is warmer and my skin is loving the hydration.

Next up is the Ulta3 Second Skin Foundation. I have a full review on this foundation, which you can find here. If you read my review, you would have known that I seriously love this foundation. I love the finish, the longevity and the affordability of all the Ulta3 products. However, the shade range is not at all inclusive which is a real shame. I seriously hope they expand the shade range in the future because I know that so many other beauties out there would fall in love with this foundation if they could find a shade to match them.

Sticking with Ulta3, next up we have the Golden Hour Tinted Moisturiser. This is very new to my collection (you can see my first impressions of this collection here), and therefore I haven’t had much of a chance to test it out yet. I love the sound of this product; it is meant to have a radiant/dewy finish and contains so many beautiful ingredients like vitamin B3, jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid. Again, the shade range is not very vast, so I am unsure if I want to even review this product as I know so many beauties would struggle to find a shade to match them.

Now we have the Essence Pretty Natural Hydrating Foundation. I already have a full review on this product, which you can find here. If you read my review, you would know how impressed I am with this foundation. It is super hydrating (as the name suggests) and contains so many amazing ingredients that help keep your skin happy. I have recently been wearing this foundation to work each day and it has been lasting beautifully underneath my mask all day!

Finally we have the ColourPop Cosmetics Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Tinted Moisturiser. While I have had this in my collection for at least a year now, I have barely reached for it! I don’t really know why this is, but hopefully I can make a conscious effort to change that soon. From what I remember when I wore it last, this tinted moisturiser is a great match for my pale skin and it keeps my skin hydrated all day long. I will try and use it again soon and do a proper review for you all.

Well that is all the foundations/tinted moisturisers I have in my collection! Do I have any of your favourites? What others would you like to recommend to me? Do you want to see a review on any of the products I mentioned in today’s post? Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
