Empties #2

Hi Beauties,

Welcome back to another blog post. Today, as the title suggests, I will be going through some of my recent empties and sharing them with you! So if you want to see what products I have used up in the past few months, then keep on reading.

The first empty I have is the Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder. I have honestly lost count of how many of these powders I have gone through over the years! So if that doesn’t show how much I love them, I don’t know what will. Why do I love it so much? Well first of all it is such an affordable product and it is a well known dupe for the MAC Cosmetics pressed powders. It sets my face beautifully, the powder itself is super fine so it doesn’t feel super heavy on the skin. Would I repurchase this? Already have honey!

Next up we have the Revolution Supersize Conceal & Define Concealer. I recently did a review on this product, which you can find here, so I won’t go into too much detail here. I do really enjoy this concealer for a number of reasons. It is super affordable, it blends out nicely and it isn’t too heavy on my skin. They also have a great shade range which is a big bonus in my books. Would I repurchase this? I already have!

Now we have the NYX Cosmetics Micro Brow Pencil. I have had this in my collection for quite some time and I am actually proud of myself for finally using it all up. This micro brow pencil is super affordable (can you tell I love the affordable products at the moment?) and it has a super fine (or as the name suggests, micro) tip. This means it can create some great thin, hair-like strokes. Would I repurchase this? Yeah maybe sometime in the future I will, but for now I am happy testing out other brow products.

The next empty I have is the Covergirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara. This is another product that I have repurchased over and over again. I love this mascara because it is very natural. It lengthens the lashes and darkens then slightly as well. I have never had an issue with clumping or flaking with this mascara either. Due to its water resistant formula, I also haven’t had to deal with those annoying transfer lines that some mascaras leave on my upper lids. Would I repurchase it? If I could find it anywhere I would! But sadly I haven’t come across it in some time now so I am worried they no longer sell it.

Now we have the Mecca Max Skin Filter Primer. This was one of the first Mecca Max products I ever got my hands on and I have to say I am really impressed. I loved how this felt on the skin under my makeup, it really made my skin feel hydrated. It also slightly filled in my pores which I can also appreciate. Would I repurchase it? Yeah in the future I think I would, but for now I have way too many primers in my collection that I need to try! (You can see them all featured in a blog post here).

The next empty is the Mario Badescu Rose Hip Nourishing Oil. I have had this in my collection for what feels like an eternity and it was just never ending! I enjoyed this oil and mainly used it during my nighttime routine. I don’t think an oil like this is such a necessary step in my own personal skincare routine as I didn’t really find it made much difference on the days I did use it compared to when I didn’t. But I am proud that I used it all up! Would I repurchase this? Probably not.

Finally I have the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner. This is another product I have had in my collection forever. I bought this way back when I wasn’t super conscious about buying cruelty-free products. I didn’t mind this toner, it made my skin feel lovely after I used it so that is a bonus I guess. Would I repurchase it? No, mainly because it is not cruelty free!

What products have you finished recently? Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
